Once again this year, the Institute of Physics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences participated in the 2026 Summer School for Young Scientists, organized for the eighth time by the All4Science association in cooperation with the Slovak Academy of Sciences with the aim of introducing students aged 12 to 17 to the world of scientific research and motivating them to study science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
QUTE.sk has joined the European Quantum Academy (EQA), one of Europe’s largest initiatives for quantum technology education and workforce development. As the only Slovak organisation in the consortium of more than 70 partners, QUTE.sk will contribute to strengthening Europe’s quantum education ecosystem and supporting the next generation of quantum professionals.
In April 2026, Prof. Barry C. Sanders, a leading expert in quantum information science, visited Slovakia as part of the eduQUTE programme. His lecture series and colloquium brought together students, researchers and professionals, offering insights into quantum computing and its broader context.
As part of the colloQUTE series, IP SAS, in cooperation with QUTE.sk, hosted a physics colloquium focused on magnetoelectric phenomena in non-centrosymmetric superconductors lead by Assoc prof. Denis Kochan (IMPULZ Fellow).

On October 16, 2025, QUTE.sk participated in OpenSlava 2025 at FEI STU in Bratislava – this year focused on showcasing the growing impact of quantum communication and quantum security technologies.
On September 26, 2025, the V-Klub in Bratislava transformed into a space where science, curiosity, and enthusiasm for quantum technologies came together.
