Kicking Off June at TechFocus 2024

Dr. Ziman’s busy June began with his participation in TechFocus 2024 on June 11, a significant conference organized by our partner Aricoma. This one-day event brought together experts and enthusiasts from various fields, focusing on key topics such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and the quantum revolution.

At TechFocus 2024, Dr. Ziman led a thought-provoking presentation and participated in a panel discussion that specifically targeted industry professionals. He shared insights into the latest advancements in quantum computing, developments at the Slovak National Center for Quantum Technologies, and the revolutionary potential of quantum technologies. The audience, composed of tech leaders and innovators, engaged in a lively debate on the future of cybersecurity, particularly in the context of post-quantum cryptography. Dr. Ziman’s expertise provided a valuable perspective on how these emerging technologies could reshape the digital landscape.

Exploring Quantum Wonders Across Slovakia

Following his appearance at TechFocus 2024, Dr. Ziman shifted his focus to public outreach, starting with a series of lectures aimed at making quantum science accessible to everyone. On June 12, he captivated an audience at the Nová synagóga in Žilina with a lecture that delved into the intriguing phenomena of quantum mechanics—randomness, uncertainty, non-locality, and teleportation. The very next day, on June 13, Dr. Ziman continued his lecture series at the Krajská knižnica Karola Kmeťka in Nitra. Here, a curious and diverse crowd gathered to learn about the impact of quantum technologies on various industries. Dr. Ziman’s engaging presentation style made complex topics like quantum computing, quantum security, and quantum sensors understandable and exciting for everyone in attendance. Trnava’s Quantum Event Postponed

Initially, Dr. Ziman was also scheduled to participate at a lecture at Malý Berlín in Trnava on June 18. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, this event had to be postponed. However, we are excited to announce that it will be rescheduled for autumn 2024. We look forward to bringing this enriching experience to the people of Trnava soon.
