Visit of Quantum Technologies Expert Olivier Ezratty at the Institute of Physics SAS
On June 30, 2025, the QUTE pavilion at the Institute of Physics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences had the honor of hosting Olivier Ezratty, an international expert in quantum technologies, consultant, and author of the extensive publication Understanding Quantum Technologies.
Mr. Ezratty visited Slovakia as a speaker at the upcoming international summer school ESSAI 2025, focused on artificial intelligence and quantum computing, which will take place at FIIT STU from June 30 to July 4, 2025. As part of his program, he expressed strong interest in learning more about the Slovak quantum research community.
During his visit, Mr. Ezratty toured our laboratories dedicated to quantum technologies at the QUTE Pavilion and met with members of the Slovak quantum community. He appreciated both the advanced level of our laboratory infrastructure and the breadth of expertise that Slovak researchers bring to the field of quantum technologies.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to discuss the current state of quantum research in Slovakia, explore potential areas of collaboration, and share insights into global trends in quantum technologies. Discussions also touched upon possible joint activities and media outreach connected to the ESSAI 2025 summer school.
We thank Olivier Ezratty for his inspiring visit and all participants for engaging discussions that contribute to building bridges between the Slovak quantum community and international experts.
